Former captain Mark Noble will return to West Ham United as the club’s sporting director from 2 January, 2023.
The ex-midfielder finished his actively playing job this summer after earning 550 appearances for the Hammers.
The newly made function will see Noble, 35, get the job done with manager David Moyes and the club’s board of directors across all aspects of its soccer procedure.
“I am seriously satisfied to be coming back,” claimed Noble. “It can be a terrific honour to just take up this function at West Ham United.”
He added: “I see it as a posture that I can improve and create in equally individually and skillfully.

But for two brief loan spells in 2006, Noble expended his full vocation with regional team West Ham just after joining their academy aged 11.
