Patrick Vieira: Crystal Palace manager ‘troubled’ by lack of black managers

Patrick Vieira says he is “troubled” by the absence of black supervisors in the Premier League and Women’s Tremendous League.

Vieira is the only black manager to be main a club in the top flight of men’s or women’s soccer in England.

“It problems me a large amount. It is really difficult for me to fully grasp it,” explained Vieira.

Talking at the time, Queens Park Rangers director of soccer Les Ferdinand stated the figures confirmed the Football Association’s Range Code – a directive released in 2020 to deal with racial inequality in the English game – experienced failed.
