Karim Benzema, Robert Lewandowski, Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi are tied for the title of the highest rated forward in FIFA 23, with all four players rated 91 in EA Sports’ Ultimate Team game mode.
The quartet are joined by Manchester City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne for the accolade of the highest rated player in the game, with the Belgian also rated 91.
FIFA 23 will be released on 30 September and player ratings for the FIFA Ultimate Team mode have been officially revealed.
Players can be rated up to 99, with forwards receiving an overall rating as well as ratings in categories such as pace and shooting.
While Benzema, Lewandowski, Mbappe and Messi are tied for top spot of forwards in FIFA 23, Mohamed Salah and Cristiano Ronaldo are both just one rating lower in fifth and sixth place in the standings respectively.
Liverpool star Salah has been handed a one rating boost from his 89 rated base card in FIFA 22, while Ronaldo has suffered the opposite fate, dropping from a 91 rated FIFA Ultimate Team card to a 90 rated one.
Similarly, Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar has also been downgraded, falling from 91 to 89 rated in FIFA 23. The Brazilian is the 11th highest rated player in the game, dropping five places after featuring as the sixth highest rated player in FIFA 22.
