De Bruyne scored the opener for Man City at Arsenal soon after Takehiro Tomiyasu’s very poor backpass

The Soccer Association has launched an investigation after Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne experienced objects thrown at him during their 3-1 get at Arsenal on Wednesday night.

The midfielder was qualified even though he was strolling all around the pitch soon after getting substituted late on.

Referee Anthony Taylor is considered to have mentioned it in his match report.

De Bruyne scored and established up a goal as City took over top location in the Premier League from the Gunners.

The Belgium international posted a photograph on social media of himself at Emirates Stadium with the caption ‘beer any person?’.

One more picture posted by De Bruyne, with a cup in the air near him, had the caption ‘thanks!’.

Arsenal have been approached for comment by BBC Sport.
