Young Salah El Din Oulad Muhannad left Arsenal to join Hull City on loan for this season, as the Gunners allowed a few of the youth team to leave the club in search of a vital first-team experience. Hull City have been given the opportunity to sign the 19-year-old on a permanent basis.
A statement on the Gunners’ official website read: “The 19-year-old midfielder joined us in the summer of 2020 from Feyenoord in the Eredivisie as a free agent. Salah played 21 games last season in all competitions for the U-23 club, scoring six Goals and making three times.
The Dutch attacking midfielder also appeared in the first team squad nine times in the 2021/22 season.
We wish Salah all the best on his loan spell with Hull City and look forward to seeing his continued development.”
It is reported that Hull City can sign the player permanently for a fee of around £8m if he is impressed. The England Under-17 international will be an important member of the Tigers squad in their quest to return to the Premier League.
